GOLDEN TRAIL NATIONAL SERIES
THE GOLDEN TRAIL NATIONAL SERIES SLOVENIA/CROATIA/HUNGARY (GTNS SLO/CRO/HUN) RETURNS IN 2023 WITH THE CHANCE TO WIN AN INVITATION TO RACE WITH THE WORLDS BEST ATHLETES AT THE IL GOLFO DELL’ISOLA TRAIL RACE (ITALY).
GTNS SLO/CRO/HUN 2023 RACES
REGISTRATION
All GTNS SLO/CRO/HUN races are open to everyone.
Everyone has the possibility to get a bib or participate in all of the races through the website of the event.
It is each individual athlete’s responsibility to respect the rules and regulations of each race.

RANKING SYSTEM
Runners must participate in at least 2 out of 3 qualifying races (KOCEVSKO OUTDOOR FESTIVAL, TAILWIND BORZSONY TRAIL, RISNJAK TRAIL).
The first 30 runners can get points.
The overall ranking will take into account each runner’s 2 best results from qualifying races plus the result of the national final.
The national final is mandatory to get a ranking and qualify for the GTNS Grand Final in Italy, and the national final points are double.
In case of a tie:
1- the best place on one of the qualifying races.
2- the second-best place on one of the qualifying races.
3- the third-best place on one of the qualifying races.

CATEGORY
There is only one category per gender: overall male and overall female.
PRIZES
QUALIFYING RACES
Each qualifying race of the season give the following prize money for the top 3 men and women.
- 1st: 150€
- 2nd: 100€
- 3rd: 50€
OVERAL RANKING CATEGORY M&W
The prize giving ceremony of all GTNS SLO/CRO/HUN 2023 series will be held in Moscenicka Draga, at the end of Ucka Trail Sebo Memorial 2023 race.
The first 3 men and women in the overall ranking will be awarded cash prizes:
- 1st: 1000€
- 2nd: 600€
- 3rd: 200€
TRAVEL EXPENSES AND MORE
The first 2 men and women from the GTNS SLO/CRO/HUN 2023 overall ranking will receive their ticket* to participate in the GTNS Grand Final 2023 (IL GOLFO DELL’ISOLA TRAIL RACE, the region of Liguria, Italy / from the 19th to the 22nd of October).
Therefore, they will receive financial support for transport and accommodation.
*Ticket: race bib + accommodation + transport (in the maximum sum specified up to 600€ from Europe to Europe and up to 1.200€ from other
continent).
INJURES
In the event of injury and the inability to compete before the competition, the runner who would have won a ticket for the GTWS Grand Final, or for the GTC, will not receive any compensation and will lose his/her ticket and will not.
PHOTO, TV & VIDEO RIGHTS
Any competitor expressly waives the right to any images during the GOLDEN TRAIL NATIONAL SERIES 2023, as he renounces all recourse against the organizer and his authorized partners for the use made of his images.
RANKING 2023
Ranking will be visible after the first race – Kocevsko Outdoor Festival / Wolf Trail – 30km.
